If you are referring to the medal ceremony for the 200 fly, he was quite emotional considering what that event meant to him. To me, it looked like he was making eye contact with his family perhaps.
If anyone was upset at that, they are quite ridiculous.
Gabby talks about her faith, the Bible, etc. Link below:
I agree, we always stood straight, hands at side or behind us. I don’t remember ever placing hand over heart.
Maybe he was high.
Interesting story from a few years back. Her mother sounds like a peach.
I see it as disrespectful
No question about it, she's a communist......./s
.
I don’t put my hand over my heart for the anthem either.
I don’t worship the USA, I worship Yehova.
Leave Gabby alone $hit disturbers!
.
Its been reported the Apple co-founder smoked pot
= = =
It is known that bo smoked pot....
and has turned the US to ... c**p.
It ain’t the pot’s fault.
Quick to tear someone down.
Really sorry attitude to have toward someone that has worked so hard to be the best.
The flag should never be part of a sports uniform, or on a uniform, yet every sports team these days puts one on. Plenty of parts to pick on people with the flag.
Why not?
I was taught to never lower the flag or let it touch the ground or get it dirty. Yet everyday, the flag is on sports uniforms where it is stained and dirtied.
I don't care, that is my opinion. Plenty of people salute and praise the flag that are not patriotic.
I never heard of putting one’s hand on one’s heart for the National Anthem until 15-20 years ago.
We only did that for the Pledge of Allegiance when I was a kid. We stood at attention for the anthem.
It’s a valid opinion. Although the flags on American military uniforms get dirty too, don’t they?
I’ll tell you what I don’t like. American national teams wearing predominantly red uniforms. Red should always be the trim, with the main color either white or blue.
Anyway, things sure have changed.
Arms at the side are better than Obama’s hands over the crotch.
That is the etiquette. Sometimes sporting events produce other behaviors
Agree. That wasn’t a real apology.
Her father was a Staff Sgt. so she, a 20 year old grown adult, knows full well how to behave.
