JANESVILLE, Wisconsin House Speaker Paul Ryan should coast to reelection here despite a scare from Republican businessman Paul Nehlen, a new poll shows.
The Remington Research Group survey conducted on Aug. 3 found that Ryan leads Nehlen 80 percent to 14 percent. A minimal six percent say they are undecided. The survey was of 1,157 likely primary voters and has a margin of error of three points.
The survey also found that 80 percent of respondents found Ryan favorable, with just 14 percent finding him unfavorable and six percent having no opinion. Nehlen, meanwhile, was viewed by 16 percent as favorable while 47 percent view him as unfavorable and 37 percent are unsure.

Wisconsin loves the Uniparty.
Wisconsin will go blue in November as will Minnesota. Go figure.
Wow, that is sad.
Tragic
Hope Ryan enjoys being Minority Leader with about 20 Republican Senators.
Remember that they were predicting that Cantor would be relected just before the voters put HIM out to pasture.
We discussed this poll in length yesterday. Remington research is Jeff Roe. Poll was done in Milwaukee WI (sliver of Ryans district) and Madison WI (not Ryans district). Don’t think it is very trustworthy
To think Cheese heads was just a joke with the hats and all, who knew they were serious...
I believe you. Hope the people of WI come thru and toss Ryan out.
Don’t believe it!! Stay strong!! Get out to.the polls tomorrow!!
I figured if Trump endorsed Ryan there must be enough of a lead for Ryan that there was no hope to Cantorize him.
I suspect Trump would have loved to bury Ryan but it wasn’t possible.
Sorry to see that bastard surviving.
Wisconsin loves Ryan and Cruz. “Cheeseheads” is right.
actually 1st District in Wisc. and it is generally all over the place regarding their Rep.
Bush (twice )
Obama
Romney (Only because of Paul ?)
he may win.. but no way he will get 80 percent-—
Wisconsin has been voting for CommieDem REDS since 1988. I hope it does go Conservative BLUE in 2016.
Peaceful political change is no longer a realistic option.
Paul Ryan believes in trade while the other guy is a protectionist. Therefore, I choose Ryan.
He’s not going to lose by that much, but he’s not going to win sadly.
As I have posted many times, WI loves Paul Ryan. It is only those outside the state who fantasize about him getting tossed who are going to be disappointed. Only the 700,000 people in CD1 get to make this call and they will reelect Ryan in a landslide tomorrow. Remember they went 60% for Cruz, so they know a good conservative Republican when they see one...
