The family of the teenager known as “Clock Boy” is suing over what happened to him at his school last year.
He ended up moving to Qatar with his family, but moved back to Irving for the summer. He said he may finish high school in the United States and definitely wants to go to college here. (That's where he's been instructed to go)
"I've matured more. It's normal to mature but I've matured way more since I got a little bit of publicity, and I'm happy for it,” Mohamed said.
(And by matured, he means he's been trained)
Regarding the lawsuit, his attorneys argue he was interrogated at length and not allowed to have his parents present.
“These acts by the authorities show blatant disregard for the civil rights of this American,” lead attorney Susan Hutchison said in a statement. (This "American" whose father ran for government leadership in another country)
The Irving Independent School District confirmed it is a defendant in the federal suit. The district still denies violating Mohamed's rights and said it will respond to the claims in accordance with court rules, but said it cannot comment because of the pending litigation.

Hey Clockmed, cool suitcase bomb!
Come by the White House for lunch!
-Barak Hussein Obama
He will get free scholarships, anywhere he wants them, and a job that he isn’t qualified for. Such is the power of victimhood.
use the clock and hang around your neck like Flava Flav
That story came out just as bammy was announcing that he was going to bring in “10000” savages into this country. The story was blown up out of proportion because of that, to convince us that we are racist islamophobes and that we need to get over it and love the savages who are coming in to take our money and live free off of us and get free obamacare.
Send Clockboy and his family back to where they were spawned.
Hmmmm so imagine Clockmed and his parental handlers trying to get thru security with this anywhere else
Try flying to Europe with your “invention” punk
It was a set-up for law$suit from the get-go
The little terrorist said he can’t do anything, he’s lost his creativity but now, “there’s nothing I can do.” FO, you little shit, and your terrorist parents, too. He only came back here from Qatar to file a lawsuit, because “he fears for his safety here.” He’s going back to Qatar for school.
Obammy will give him one of those pallets containing 400 million in unmarked currency no doubt-as a 1st payment.
They could be angling for a huge “make it go away” settlement.
Irving ISD has been chomping at the bit to tell their side of the story. Up to this point, Irving ISD has been constrained by student privacy laws. I'm hoping Irving ISD is willing to spend a little money and is able to tell its story through court filings.
We need someone in Dallas County to keep an eye on the court filings up there.
They came back to file a lawsuit?
A judge should dismiss this right away.
Clockboy and KhanMan are all cut from the same fraudulent cloth
I’d bet the house and lot that some Saudi sugar-daddy is paying for the lawyer, too.
That’s the choice that a school has now: get sued by a student’s parents if the fake bomb is caught or face 800 wrongful death lawsuits if the bomb is passed over and explodes. The choice is obvious but it sucks to have Zero take away your operating budget and give it to little jihad-Johnny.
Now wait, when he invented the clock, how could he have known that he was 500 years too late?!?! /sarcasm
That was one impressive clock that he “invented”. I’d bet $100 bucks that using my finger as a sundial would work better than what’s left of that clock. If he had the brains of a goat he’d say that he found it dumpster-diving.
By filing a lawsuit, the family has opened themselves to questions. Here’s hoping the school and city have very good ones.
