The Hotshots are the elite firefighters in the smaller green trucks, they can be dropped in by helicopter and are always on the front lines.

Got it- I saw some green USFS trucks and some white USFS trucks. I saw one jet overhead purposed for air drop of retardant, and multiple loadouts of water, using helicopters for delivery. Lightning was the culprit.
