Blacks have long been one of the Democrat party's most reliable voting blocs, despite its history as the party of slavery, secession, segregation, Jim Crow, lynchings, poll taxes, and literacy tests. Indeed, it was more than 50 years ago already that President Lyndon B. Johnson declared his Democrat policies would have "them n****rs voting Democratic for the next two hundred years," -- and, so far, President Johnson's prediction has proven out.
But could it be that some blacks are waking up to the fact that Democrats seem to "care" about them only during election season, when they need blacks to turn out for them on election day?

When democrats talk to black people, they talk about welfare, minimum wage laws, prison sentencing. When Trump talks to black people, he talks about jobs. And when he talks to white people, he talks about jobs too.
I think the blacktivists kicking it up a notch with their protests is an indication of how little they benefited from Obama’s presidency; if they can’t do better under him, what can they expect from at least four years of the Ice Queen?
