I am a mom to kids who played soccer - and I chauffeured them and their teammates in a mini-van. I am not a hover-mother.

Perhaps if I applied my critical thinking skills, I would not bother to reply to your post. However, I am feeling the emotion of being disrespected...

Maybe you do not personally know/interact with very many teachers and base your statement on (mis-)perceived stereotypes.

I invite you to dialogue and hope you will rethink your opinion pertaining to teachers.

Obviously a generalization. I know quite a few teachers, and a handful of them are not liberals.

I have a case of stereotype bias, but all it is is bias. It doesn't determine my opinion of any individual.
