Thanks for thread A.B. I’m relieved that the media full court knock out punch directed at Trump failed (for now). I hope it wakes up enough people to stop Hillary. All the GOP elites and even office holders playing coy and/or outright opposing The Donald should GTH!

As always, thank you AB for doing this thread. Thank you Bray for weekly wisdom and thank you yon commenters for fleshing it all for us.
Couple of things today, one a rant and one more information on the fabulous Matthew Fish.
Quick recap-Matthew Fish is my nephew, son of my deceased husband’s brother Michael. Matthew wants to be President, also a doctor who does surgery with robotics. Matthew Fish is 14 years old, his voice recently changed and I am still amazed at the little buck-toothed young man is so smooth of speech and filled with political knowledge.
Of course I have me a beautiful granddaughter, almost 13 years of age, who last week met young Matthew. I’ll not tell you it’s love at first sight, who knows? But Matthew will someday need a First Lady, no?
Understand that Kaitlyn-granddaughter-and Matthew Fish are NOT related.
I told the story of Matthew’s Dad, Michael, who was married before but whose wife dropped dead at 8.5 months pregnant, on the day of her baby shower. MY daughter, Melissa, was but 14 at the time, also 8.5 months pregnant, with a baby she was going, and did, to give up for adoption. Matthews know this story of his Dad’s first marriage and damn it was sad, sad beyond anything I ever experienced in my life. Michael came over to Billy, my husband, and told him not to be mad at Melissa, who got pregnant deliberately because she has Munchaussen and young pregnant teenagers get a lot of sympathy and attention, just what Munchaussen people want. Even with his horrible pain, Michael was good enough to worry about someone else. Of course we couldn’t take Melissa to the funeral because we didn’t want everyone to see HER big with a child when there was a dead baby in the coffin already and Melissa was giving hers away. Kaitlyn knows she has a brother out there somewhere as well so there’s a connection between the two.
What I didn’t tell you about Matthew is that his mother’s sister is a lesbian and is “married” to a lesbian. To make things more awful, each of these lesbians have a baby boy, each getting pregnant, well I don’t know how but we’ll assume a man was involved in some fashion.
So Matthew is growing up with this. Indeed those little boys are cuter than cute but they deserve to have a father, yes they do. And Michael is at odds about it, taking great umbrage when the unrelated lesbian (NOT Matthew’s biological Aunt) keeps referring to her son as Matthew’s cousin.
Every holiday is a big pain in that the lesbians are NOT to be hugging and kissing when around Matthew. In other words, Michael will be in the company of the lesbians but respectfully asks that they keep the touching, etc, under control.
My mother-in-law tells me the stories of family gatherings and often they suck. Michael doesn’t want Matthew to think this sort of thing is normal.
Just so y’all know that the very sweet, intelligent and personable Matthew Fish faces an odd life every day and he handles it.
Now for the rant….I am so sick and tired of every 2 bit pundit giving Donald Trump advice on how to act. Trump did NOT have a bad couple of weeks no matter what Joan Doe says, Joan Doe whose claim to fame is bedding the boss. Or Joe Blow, a nothing burger with blow dried hair, who lists things Donald needs to do to get his mojo back.
Bullshit.
That Khan guy was a fraud, no gold star parent. And dolt McCain and Ryan all weren’t “there yet” when it came time to endorse Trump.
Let Trump be Trump for God sakes. I realize many of y’all might disagree with me so I am open to discussion.
It got so I had to turn off the TV, even Fox, when some wannabe wise guy was on there going on and on about Trump’s bad week and bogus falling polls.
Anyway, went to church yesterday so will be around today reading the wisdom.
