Fertile ground or not, both subjects are distractions. I liked Gingrich zinger that Melania was the only immigrant that the DEMs questioned credentials of.
Only one is a distraction--Melania. The Dems and MSM are now engaged in making this a narrative. Nobody but nobody is talking about the Khans' immigration history. It really does need to be looked at. It doesn't have to be done by Trump or traceable back to his campaign. One way to trump Khan is to discredit him, not his son.
I do know how difficult it is for someone to gain a green card from Pakistan, and especially someone who was living in a third country.
Newt handled the interview perfectly. Khan has been exposed. Social media and drudge are exposing the Kahn’s. Trump, Pence and Newt aren’t going to take the Kahn bait anymore.
It’s been exposed that the Kahn’s are political lying liberal hacks. Newt did the right thing by not taking the Lib bait. If/when Trump is asked a question about Kahn in a future debate, he needs to minimize and/or ignore that the Kahns even exist. Other than to say, as a parent, he can only sympathize with their loss. period. Then Trump needs to pivot to protecting Americans and supporting our troops. And mention how he has spoken with other families who lost their loved ones during their service to our country, and values the sacrifice their family has made.
Kahn needs to be ignored at this point, and trump/pence need to be prepared for the best answer during a debate. That is all. Social media and drudge have exposed kahn and everyone now knows he is a liberal hack and sympathizes with sharia.
