CNN this morning is saying it is out of line for Trump to question Hillary's mental health. Not sure if that is a new line. They showed the "Short circuited" ad. Hillary surrogate says the ad is a mashup of the "raise the taxes on the middle class" (CNN head says the transcript says Hillary said "aren't" going to raise the taxes, but has to admit the video shows what it shows) and the e-mail explanation "short circuit," and Trump shouldn't play fast and loose with this on account of his lie about seeing a video of a plane with cash.

Now discussing the Hillary ad about Trump and Russia. To the Hillary surrogate, if Hillary has an accusation, why not make it, rather than conclude "We'll let you guess." Surrogate says "DNC e-mail hacks." Since the RNC hasn't been hacked, there is a question (she assumes Russia hacked DNC).

Giuliani says Hillary should be the last person to talk about Russia, failed reset, and Russia now has the upper hand in Syria. CNN says that Trump said, last week, he didn't know Russia was in Crimaea (lie by CNN). What about the clarity from Trump about his connections with Russia? Giuliani says he doesn't have substantial connections with Russia - CNN says but releasing his taxes would give that clarity, wouldn't it? Huh?). Giuliani says that alignment with Russians doesn't mean alignment with Putin - many Russians invest in the US to get their money away from Putin.

CNN surrogate says the ad is great - if it takes this long to explain it, it is a great ad. So, it is okay to insinuate Trump is carrying Putin's water, but not okay to insinuate Hillary is? CNN says, "only have a few seconds," which is another lie, because they go on to spend additional minutes on a separate "bash Trump" issue, the number of rallies he has and the exchange with the Khan family.

Giuliani says the press doesn't treat the candidates the same. Hillary lied to Gold Star mothers about why their sons were dead (video) when she knew it was a terrorist attack. Why not spend as much time on Hillary insulting grieving mothers, as on Trump? CNN does not accept the accusation. You have to be on Mars if you think the press has spent as much time on that, as on Trump. CNN says Trump is the only candidate who insulted Khan. Giuliani mentions the Mohammad video, and the Hillary surrogate says that is old news, the DNC convention was two weeks ago. The press gets mighty defensive when confronted with evidence of their bias.
