This is what happens when you live in a country with no Constitution and Bill of Rights.
The only real difference between Nazis and communists was that Nazis believed Germans were superior and communists that Russians were superior.
That and a few trivial things like the Nazi obsession with hoary medieval myths about the lost ark.
While communists might not always have been anti-Semitic, that came and went with the times, by the end of his rule Stalin was almost as anti-Semitic as Hitler.
Their economic and social philosophies were very similar.
The myth that Nazism is “right wing” was started by the allies of communists in the academic world to provide a useful pretext for smearing conservative anti-communist political movements. This continues up to the present time as one of the many lies of political correctness.
We had a blogger in Canada who used to publish almost daily diatribes against the Stephen Harper government in which he openly stated that Harper and other leading conservatives were neo-Nazis. There was no shred of evidence to back this up other than one photograph of one person with a Catholic bishop who had chosen the fascist side in the Yugoslavian civil war. But these are standard communist disinformation tactics, and have been successfully used to hold back support for conservative political parties through this false educational paradigm.
The fact that the only opposition in Europe to Hitler was the staunch conservative, Winston Churchill, seems to have escaped these cynical analysts. As soon as the Soviet Union escaped the mortal peril of the Nazi invasion, they went right back to bad mouthing Churchill and his party (which was then in opposition having lost an election in late 1945). They kept this up right through the Cold War despite having been saved from total defeat by the sacrifices made by Britain in 1941-42.
