Hillary Clinton has widened her lead over Donald Trump in a pair of new national polls published on Thursday, as the Republican nominee ends one of the worst weeks of his campaign.

Clinton opened up a 15-point margin in the McClatchy-Marist survey, 48% to 33%, which was conducted as Trump feuded publicly first with the Muslim parents of a slain American war hero and then House Speaker Paul Ryan, one of the GOP's most popular and powerful figures. Last month, Clinton held a narrow 3-point advantage, 42%-39% in a McClatchy-Marist poll. In an NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll, Clinton's edge is 9 points (47% to 38%), cushioning what was a 5-point advantage in early July. A CNN/ORC poll this week showed Clinton with a similar 9-point edge over Trump nationally.

Sometimes it is good to be the underdog in this race.

The Donald may continue to campaign as the underdog, all the while Herself and the concomitant campaigns wax fat and overconfident.

All the very best people are saying, that the coronation approaches, and this time, Herself DESERVES all that is the just and well-earned reward that lies ahead. < /sarcasm >

She’s pulling her money from Pennsylvania and Virginia and concentrating on red States. That tells you all you need to know. He’s toast

He might have the goods to show she armed ISIS. But it won’t matter. If it’s not reported by CNN or on Facebook, it’s not true. And even if it is, it’s still ok because she has a vagina and you’re a racist, Islamaphobe!

They were scared of Romney too. I remember the night he lost. I was SHOCKED more then any time in my life. I swore 100 percent that he was going to win but didn’t. That night was a huge disappointment. Looking back it probably created Trump so I am glad for that. I don’t think that polls are necessarily BS. I think they are true he is losing if election were today but 3 months is a lifetime away. Trump needs to use these 17 days of Olympics and after the closing ceremony come back and talk about economy, terrorism, jobs, and trade and that’s it. He can win that way.

She can’t fill a high school basketball auditorium and Trump fills stadiums, with people waiting outside to get in.

The debates will be the game changer.

Depends on which Trump shows up. If they get to him the way they got to Romney after the first debate in 2012, then nothing will change.

"Trump's gonna take away your free sh*t!' will get Hillary to 47% with no difficulty. I'm guessing fraud is +2 - selectively applied harder in battleground state inner cities could get them another 1%.

Heaven on earth will be the absence of godless, leftist hacks and scoffers of the Truth. Some people choose the hell they will inherit.

I’m so sick and tired of LOSING.

We are hardly losing. We lead super majority of the state legislatures, the senate and the house. We have a problem with the President and will only get worse. It might be that we will always have the two parts of government and never the presidency. We haven’t done a decent job winning the Presidency since 1988. However, that is one reason why the STATES need to have more control over things to make the federal government weaker and weaker.

Holding the Senate and House has been great at countering Obama.

You should be, as unorthodox as Trumps campaign has been he needs to start running ads highlighting both Clinton and Obamas massive failures as people and officeholders. This bs with the fraud Khan IS a distraction and he keeps feeding into it.
The majority of people in the country are disengaged, and un fortunately they DO believe what they see and hear on the boob tube.
Give them something else to listen too and think about.

No it’s not because they are in a full-size frenzy and the questions have been delivered to the beast before hand by email! Even if the she devil has the biggest gaffe they will never report... Honestly I am so sick of the freakin media assholes that I sometimes wish Isis would blow them up to smithereens or hunt them down like animals!! These assholes have no fear of the people because we sit and twiddle our thumbs instead of threatening the hell out of them to the point Our wrath forces them to report the truth!

Donald has the knowledge and ability to make mincemeat of Hillary during the debates, but based on how he seems to be unraveling, let’s just say I’m not as confident of a Trump victory now as I was after his acceptance speech. People can call me a troll if they want to. That name calling changes nothing.
