No this opens a subject. When we were kids the adults did not have to tell us to clear the table at the end of the meal, we just did and washed the dishes.

Hey, its nice to make a better life for your children, I understand that, but these kids are ruined its much worse than wipmy.

My parents are from Italy they did not have to say a word. We knew what to do because we had been watching them. And I think they spent more time with us too.

I know there are great parents out there still but so many of the kids expect to be served hand and foot.

We served the adults but that taught us so much.

I am old enough that paddling of grade school students was allowed. My home room teachers had holes in their paddles. Needless to say it wasn't used very often. Now they drug em if they are out of control or don't conform.

The problem with PC and this micro aggression BS is it is stopping feedback that people need to be better citizens and employees. I am male. I had a female supervisor some 20 years ago say to me "I can get one of you anywhere". I took her comment seriously and proved her wrong. Probably can't do that today...
