GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump will soon undertake another significant shift in the tone and staffing of his White House campaign, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani said.
The changes come amidst rumors that Republican leaders are mounting an "intervention" in an attempt to have Trump to accept professional political advice and embrace a less confrontational campaign style amidst flagging poll numbers and low morale in the party.
Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, who has close ties to Trump and is a top advisor on terrorism and national security issues, rejected the description of the shift as the result of an "intervention," as reported by NBC News.
"I wouldn't use the word 'intervention,' because its a word to describe what's done for drug addicts and alcoholics, and Trump is neither of those two things," Giuliani told NJ Advance Media Wednesday evening.
"But I think you're going to see Donald Trump campaigning in a somewhat different way going forward an evolution that will focus much more on the positive than the negative."

And after Hillary has ReReReReReReReReintroduced herself, this is a story WHY, exactly?
Low morale?
He’s filling arenas with thousands of people. Day after day. Sometimes twice a day.
He does need to laser focus on Hillary. This entire election is about Hillary not being fit for office
Literally all Trump has to do is seem Presidential.
The only low morale around is in the Clinton camp which includes the MSM and GOPe.
The debates will push the reset button. He has to squash Hillary. I hope he’s already prepping.
Republican voters are so turned off by Trump that they stand in the hot sun for 2-3 hours to get into a jammed venue to hear him give the same speech he gave yesterday and the day before.
Trump said he is ‘taking the gloves off’ so buckle up and enjoy your ride to the Oval Office...
After the next Muslim Jihadi shoots or knifes or blows something up in this country, Trump needs to take to the microphones and say “Mr. Khan’s law firm worked to secure visas to allow people like THAT to immigrate to the country”.
Then it will be GAME, SET, MATCH.
TODAY'S TRUMP ATTACK THEME IS: INTERVENTION.
“I wouldn’t use the word ‘intervention,’ because its a word to describe what’s done for drug addicts and alcoholics, and Trump is neither of those two things,” Giuliani told NJ Advance Media Wednesday evening.
Of course. Because the MSM likes to repeat loaded propagandistic phrases like “climate denier” as a way of demonizing anyone who varies from their so-called liberal orthodoxy.
Trump has tremendous party VOTER support, all his rallies are overflowing with people...
and
he attracts most independents and a significant number of Democrats too (after all, many of his policies are quite liberal and he does NOT appear, at least, to be a crook or 24/7 liar like Hilliary)
” low morale in the party.”
for the GOPe
“Literally all Trump has to do is seem Presidential.”
We didn’t mind the way he campaigned in the primaries; in fact we loved it.But that was the primaries; now he has to get the Indie and crossover voter in the general; they are looking for someone they can picture behind the Presidential podium who can be a Commander -in-Chief.
Trump is killing himself by not making the change. He acts like it’s not serious business sometimes and Americans don’t like what they see.
Clean house of the concern trolls and only have unified supporting voices.
I will try and post the Attack Theme daily. FYI.
I agree with your assertion that Trump needs to focus on Hillary. She presents a “target rich environment.”
Agree. If you look at his Twitter timeline, it is clear he made this shift Monday. He began the day bashing CNN for their coverage of him. Since, all his tweets have been about Hillary or his campaign events.
