If I was Cruz, I’d say, “No problem! But we’ve got the Clinton Foundation investigation to complete first - and that’s going to take a while.”

Cruz needs to be investigating why he doesn’t support Trump’s potential disruption of K Street krony feeding of Kongress
Kritters.

Editor’s note: NBC News is reporting that key Republicans close to Donald Trump are plotting an intervention after what many pundits are calling a “disastrous” 48 hours, and party leaders are questioning whether Trump can stay at the top of the ticket without consequences for the GOP as a whole. Sources have told NBC News that RNC chair Reince Priebus, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich are among those trying to talk Trump into a reset of his campaign. In the last few days, Trump has repeatedly criticized a Gold Star family, declared he “always wanted” a Purple Heart, and refused to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan and Sen. John McCain. Some Republicans are reportedly considering what would happen to the GOP ticket if Trump dropped out, but there has been no indication Trump is considering leaving the race. - Rebecca

Cruz should just say, "Nah, he was just kidding. On the other hand Harry Reid admitted to breaking FEC rules on fundraising, and the department of just-us decided it wasn't worth prosecuting. So the senate ethics committee will begin an investigation of that scumbag."

That’s right! We demand to see Hillary’s yoga positions, wedding plans for her daughter, and love letters to Bill.

In all seriousness, the level of sheer stupidity of these a$$-hats is beyond belief.

Trump wasn’t asking the Russians to “hack” Hillary’s mail server... He was performing a public service, asking them to TURN OVER the 30,000 emails that HAD ALREADY BEEN HACKED!

And I’m not really certain who is more idiotic... The idiot dems demanding this crap, or the idiotic media who is reporting it, as opposed to presenting the idiot dems as the booger eating morons they are!

I agree. Convene an investigatory committee, and within two minutes close it with the finding: "You're all idiots. He didn't say that."

Russia is legally required to hand over those emails because of a Clinton era mutual legal assistance treaty:

Newsflash!!!!

Donald Trump is not a member or employee of the government. He can say and email anything he wants. He can make no demands on the government that I can’t. Factually, I can make more. He cannot say anything any different than I can. I can ask Putin to send the emails if he has them just the same as Trump can over the media. And unless he talked directly to Putin, and not said something over the media for the request, if it was one and not just a joke, then they are invading Trump’s rights as a citizen under the first amendment. You remember those don’t you libs? The ones you have been misusing and and violating for about 100 years?
