Quit fighting, yes; but not necessary to let it pass. One of Trump's great strengths is his willingness to mix it up.
Suppose he'd used the political equivalent of "bless his heart /kill him with kindness."
Mr. Khan is still grieving the loss of his son. Losing a child is a terrible, terrible thing. Parents aren't supposed to bury their children. Some never recover.
We can all extend a little grace to Mr. Khan.
And if Mr. Khan is inclined to continue running his mouth...
I feel great pain and empathy for Mr. Khan. I hope he finds peace.
Unfortunately, he's being exploited by the media and Hillary Clinton, which will not help healing. I say to Mr. Khan: "You are being exploited by Hillary Clinton and the leftist media. They do not have your interests at heart. When they have exploited you to the end of your usefulness to them, they will drop you.
They are not people of good character, otherwise they would not be doing this to you." And I would say to them: "Is power so important you would do this? You are all beneath contempt."
Trump has been on an incredible learning curve from the time he stepped out to enter the political world...it is brutal beyond belief and on top of that he has people in his OWN party who are undermining him! We need to pray hard for him, for wisdom and insight as he listens to his advisors, to focus on just the issues that are SO CRITICAL to our freedoms...Let’s really lift up Mr. Trump in the coming days, weeks, and months and pray God intervenes above all the crap we are seeing take place!
