The height of a stack of 1,000,000 one dollar bills measures 4,300 inches or 358 feet – about the height of a 30 to 35 story building. The height of a stack of 100,000,000 (one hundred million) one dollar bills measures 35,851 feet or 6.79 miles.


Not that big a deal.

Make it $20 bills and the stack is only 18 ft high, or 18 small stacks 1 ft high.

Make it $50 bills and you only get 7 stacks 1 ft high.

Would fit into a cardboard moving box - but would be heavy..:^)

Yea, I saw that after I posted it. Thought it was $100 bills that was used in the example. Must have been from an old source when $1 would buy you something.
