to any Wymyn who may have ventured out of the
faculty lounge safe space into the dangerous world
of unregulated thought on the WWW.
This is outrageous, especially after 9/11. A violent passenger not only threatens the lives of everyone on board but potentially thousands on the ground. There is no other transportation medium which carries such risks. Pilots are supposed to be armed. We need a federal law allowing airline personnel to terminate threats to passengers, crew or the aircraft without having to fear legal or civil repercussion. I predict within six months of enactment of such a law incidents like this will go to zero.
