A friend of mine who has always had a liberal bent thinks Trump will get blown out in a redux of Barry Goldwater’s 1964 campaign. I responded with: “And Goldwater’s defeat brought us LBJ, one of the worst presidents of all time. Is that what you want, again?”
He didn’t have an answer to that, except to bash Trump.
