Actually, there most certainly was. After Cruz failed to endorse Trump he said it was because Trump attacked his wife and father. I saw various reporters on Twitter defend Ted because Trump attacked his wife and father. Trump was responding to that. It didn't come out of thin air.

Mark Cuban aka Mark Chabenisky. Grandparents came Russia and Romania. Grandfather changed the name to Cuban.
One has to wonder if the grandparents were all commies or if the grandkids became assholes all by themselves.
Let’s see...Michael Bloomberg & Mark Cuban are questioning Trump’s sanity. Does anyone else see the irony in this?
