IIRC Joe McCarthy did NOT have the same personality as Trump.
Trump has a habit of “returning fire” with all barrels.
In evidence, Mitt Romney never properly responded to the MEDIA HYSTERIA over a caged dog safely carried on the roof of a car. Also George W. Bush got caught driving “under the influence” as a youngster. Better he had robbed a bank and shot a teller, the media would have supported him saying, “he was turning his life around.”
Anything that can be twisted is pounced on. Personally, I’ve never run for president because, believe it or not, Iwas ticketed for the awful crime of “SPEEDING” at total of TWICE, since I got my license to drive 65 years ago.
Let’s be honest, Romney had no good response to the reports of his outrageous and sociopathic canine abuse.
