Yep. Trump didn’t do himself any favors this past week. The fact that Hillary is starting to hit 50% in some of these polls, manufactured or not, is a bit disconcerting.
One of the concerns I have is that the USC poll is a 7-day average, meaning that over the past several days, Hillary has gained some ground. Once the convention bounce/Kahn thing dies down, the polls will probably straighten out.
The MSM will constantly beat on the Kahn thing, though.
Hillary is at 42% and that’s being generous.
She’ll get around 40% in November because remember - Democratic strength is nearly always overestimated.
The fact she’s not breaking 42% since May should be telling.
But the Hillary campaign will believe what the MSM is feeding her and coast like Romney, figuring its in the bag.
Romney thought that as well in 2012 and to his shock, he lost on Election Day.
