If you want to keep environmental regulations, labor laws, tax structures, and other red tape. The tariffs are the only way to level things.
If they aren’t a good idea, then get rid of them. You can’t have both.
We already have thousands of tariffs on everything from tennis shoes to turkeys. That’s one of the jobs of the FTC. But every product and every country is examined individually.
Get government out of the way and American workers/companies kick arse. Deregulate, lower corporate tax rates, and let ‘er rip. Nobody can compete with America. Nobody.
