The media is good at pretending that Trump said what they want him to say to bolster and spread their hate. The media has destroyed many a Republican candidate with the magnification of their lies. Perhaps Trump will be the one who finally punches through the corrupt media.
Like I said on another thread, the RATs (and their media cohorts) repeat this MO every Presidential cycle: find some group or individual they believe is unassailable, who cannot be criticized, and then that prop becomes the club to knock down the Republican candidate.
For a while, it was Cindy Sheehan, until she became a caricature of herself - then they dumped her. This time around it's Khan and (by extension) parents of a fallen soldier.
