Matthew 4:8-10
Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. All this I will give you, he said, if you will bow down and worship me.
Jesus said to him, Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.
Good stuff, but that’s not an apologetic, i.e., an argument for the Christian faith. As an example, the Koran says that Jesus wasn’t crucified. However there is plenty of historical evidence outside of the bible that says that he was. This doesn’t prove that Jesus is the son of God or that or that he was resurrected from the dead, but it is enough to cast reasonable doubt on the Koran’s position. We have a reasonable faith that can be proclaimed and defended. The question is are we (Christians)going to take the initiative to do that?
Seems Hillary got the same offer... and gave the opposite response to the father of lies & mentor to her mentor.
