My blood pressure inexplicably shot up last fall. I tried many “natural “ cures and none worked. When I told my endocrinologist I took fish oil he said it doesn’t provide any benefits and just adds more calories to my diet. I was quite surprised, until that I had heard only positive things about fish oil.

A few extra calories don’t bother me, my weight is fine. Heart disease runs in my family so I will continue to take fish oil.

Magnesium is excellent for the heart as well as the mineral selenium. I take fish oil. I’d rather gain a few pounds.

Well, the majority of the Omega-3 studies find results from fish-based Omega-3s, rather than gelcaps
