In a press conference Sunday, Pope Francis appeared to suggest that all religions are equally prone to violence and that Islam and Christianity are the same in this regard. When asked by a journalist about the barbarous assassination of Fr. Jacques Hamel in northern France who was clearly killed in the name of Islam last Tuesday, the Pope replied that he doesnt like speaking about Islamic violence because there is plenty of Christian violence as well.

Americans have slaughtered more than Sixty Million babies since 1973.
For several years now in the PSR classes in my parish they are not allowed to say that you will become a soldier of Christ. Things are changing in very minuet increments.

The violence of evil must be met by the violence of righteousness, justice, love and grace.

This is why God’s Plan is so brilliant. We are ALL condemned prior to being saved and salvation does not come by means of arrogance. Instead, it comes by the simplest form of obedience to God. We simply accept what He provides for us, in faith in the Cross, all all sins have been paid for by Him and facing God to confess that simple element of acceptance.
Those who refuse are condemned already. The issue is salvation.
