Watched from the comfort of my easy chair in the air conditioning.
I skipped the whole week. I took a bunch of kids backpacking, cycling and canoeing. We did 62 miles in 4 days at 100F temps.
Outside of my hammock at night, my only comfort was knowing that I had no real internet access and wouldn’t be tempted to watch the idiots pretend patriotism.
