There’s an old saying about “the enemy of my enemy” that has to do with flimsy alliances born of necessity. The left has the benefit of deep pockets soros (who doesn’t give a tinker’s damn about them but simply used them as useful tools) and many on the right looked at the resource-rich koch’s as saviors of a sort.

No one looked too deeply because - money.

I agree that we are fortunate to finally see them for what they are. The question is will people on the right pay attention or is the siren-song of money too alluring?

For people who make politics their profession, getting money will usually be the central motivation over the professed cause. They will bow down to Satan himself for a buck.

That guy at Red State - I never had any doubt he was a full blown globalist liberal yet he played the part of an insider patriot and conservative very successfully...until now.
