You can strain at gnats and swallow camels to claim that having your spouse accept emoluments (“honoraria for speeches”) from foreign governments while you are a federal official. And you can claim that acceptance by a foundation of which you are a principal of donations from foreign governments while you are a federal official is not a gift to you personally. But, if you claim credit for good works done by said foundation, you are then profiting from those donations - and are in violation of the Constitution.So I guess, in a backhanded way, Hillary was following the Constitution by not bragging about the Foundation’s good works (if any).
