Trump went after the mother ... that’s what I’m saying was less than adept. Go after the father if that’s what Trump feels he needs to do. But by “attacking” the mother, we’re all going to hear about this for a couple of days and it just gives more fuel to the MSM to beat up Trump.

I see your point and “normally” I agree with you completely about “attacking” mothers...........er...for political gain and verbally I mean.
That said, I think millions of us are very, very sick of adult muslims of whatever gender enjoying out country, it’s freedoms and it’s benefits while playing the “silent” game when one of their fellow muslims runs over 84 people or kills 14.
At this point, I’m for deportation of every Muslim man, woman and child UNTIL and IF I see some effort on behalf of the adult muslims in this country coming out EMPHATICALLY and OFTEN and very LOUD (I can’t hear you !!!!) AGAINST their fellow Muslims and kinfolks killing “the infidel”.
Then, either ASSIMILATE completely or GET THE HELL OUT !!!
I don’t disagree with you. But to be fair, this family did have a member of their family serve in our military w/ honor and distinction. This family did sacrifice for the United States against other Muslims.
I am not defending what his man said at the DNC regarding Trump. And I’m not denouncing Trump for his opinion of the father. Nor am I denouncing Trump’s opinion on the way Muslim men treat women.
My POV was in regards to how Trump’s comments would be played in the media and I also wrote ... that all of this would be forgotten by Tuesday. What we all think here on FR is not always what the general voting public think ... I’m not sure why that’s a controversial statement.
