Thank you for posting that.
In summary, it isn’t that far away which means that it’s not that bright. Almost all of these will show a connection to a nearby galaxy.
Ask Beldar
We had a Quasar TV when I was a kiddie.
“Our TV Repairman was like part of the family I can still remember the smell of the pipe he smoked as he fixed our TV”
I remember spending many hours at the tube testing machine at our local 7-to-11 with my father....
“420 trillion times brighter than our sun...”
How is it possible to even measure an increase in brightness of that magnitude?
That must seems to be totally off the scale of reality.
“The problem is that the red-shift theory is wrong, meaning all mainstream cosmology is wrong.”
So the universe isn’t expanding after all?
I jest, but I’m inclined to believe Halton Arp. If there’s one thing that’s settled, it’s that science is not settled. Our primitive species is still puzzling out the truth of how our universe works, and will be for some time to come.
“IMHO, theres more than enough mass in galactic centers, which, combined with very dense concentrations of matter not yet absorbed by black holes therein, to hold the galaxies together without invoking dark matter to correct some phantom insufficiency.”
I second that opinion. I think the dark matter theory is the biggest load of hokum since global warming. Maybe even since the Piltdown Man.
>>So the universe isnt expanding after all?<<

Hmm. Maybe not.
Reminds me of that famous pop quiz:
1) Define universe.
2) Give two examples.
Lol, so it was discovered by westerners and the Chinks took credit for it.
Yeah, but is it wrapped up like a deuce or wrapped up like a douche?
