Texas law wss not struck down. The Wi law was not struck down either. Voters will be afforded opportunity to sign an affidavit concerning their elegibility to vote. If tbey lie they can be prosecuted. This in and of itself will prevent some illegal voting until the Legislature can craft new legislation.
I expect NC will roll out a new voter id law within the week.
