Makes Sanders an even bigger phony than I thought he was when after running to fight a rigged system he endorsed Her Heinous who beat him because she rigged a system. By leaving the party after the endorsement, he affirms that he took some kind of payoff for it.

So, let me get this straight: in his speech at the convention he calls for unity in the Democrat Party, encouraging his followers to stick with the Democrats so they can all defeat Trump - then after his call for unity, he quits the Party?

I’m sure he appreciates his good health and wishes to keep it that way. No sense in continuing the fight against Clinton when nothing but bad things will come of it. That would be a lose-lose proposition.
