Germanys foreign minister says a victory for Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential elections could affect trans-Atlantic ties.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in an interview published Thursday that if the Republican candidate wins the presidency it would mean a lot of uncertainty for the trans-Atlantic relationship.

They’re not doing this so that the USA can rescue them. They’re doing this so they can have their EU army that will heed the voices of the elites alone.
I’ll say it would. Trump could tell the German people how much their economy could improve by sending your dumb a$$ back to the kitchen for the rest of your life and having a man rebuild their military and industrial capacity.
Or he could come on stage with a stick about 10 feet high, with marks on each foot going from “none” to “total” and say “Germans, think about how much national security do you want for yourselves and your families, and then look at this stick. How high the bodies of dead Arabs are stacked is how much you can expect.”
