Young girls used to dream about marriage and a home. That’s how God made them. This hideous Women’s Movement is creating some sort of Frankenstein mutation - girls that want to be guys. Yuk.
There are two women leaders in the Bible, Deborah and Jezebel. The former was the ancient equivalent of Palin or Thatcher, the latter the ancient equivalent of Clinton. I would be happy with any daughter who chose the former as her goal, if she were led to do so.
Marriage and home and family are good things. That being said...wouldn’t it be something if, one day, a good, common-sense female conservative with a supportive husband and well-behaved children ran for President? That would be something a parent would be proud to tell their daughter is a possibility.
I may get excoriated for saying this, but “barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen makin’ me a sammich” shouldn’t be ALL a girl is to accomplish in life.
