Stupid bitch. She thought convictions were a slam-dunk. She attempted to try the case in the media from the beginning. She tried to stop defense lawyers from speaking to the press, while at the same time appearing in Vogue magazine. She was also interviewed by Cosmopolitan, and appeared on stage with Prince at a Baltimore rally for Gray. I hope this scumbag’s 15 minutes of fame is over, and that’s she’s run out of town on a rail.

"It is a good thing the police officers had a strong union with deep, deep pockets for defense attorneys."

Bottom line, she didn't have the evidence to prove the charges she'd filed against the cops. She's incompetent.

"This judge may be in for a hard time.....Hope he’s got good security..."

She couldn't say anything against the man because he's black. I pray he will be safe.

None of what you said is true.

He wasn’t slammed, and he wasn’t given a rough ride.

The evidence showed this plainly.

Freddie Gray knew every square inch of that van—he had been in that one or similar ones many times.

He may have hurt himself prior to arrest. He jumped off a wall while fleeing a cop. Who knows?

The sham prosecutor put forth all the evidence and it all was rejected by a black trial judge.

“So you were there in the van with him?”

No, but, editor-surveyor was so you can ask him.

Well I’d say that the experts agree with editor.

“He may have hurt himself prior to arrest.”

He was restrained and in their custody inside a locked container. Anything that happens after that is their responsibility. If you restrain someone you are accepting responsibility for their well being as you are removing their ability to see to themselves. I never said they were murderers but they have responsibility in his death no matter what happened in the back of that van. If it was some on cop that restrained someone, put them in their vehicle, and then later he was dead, they would damn sure be liable. I am sick and tired of cops being held to a lower standard.

Oh yeah? Did you read the reports? Is that what it said? The judge RULED that is what happened? Or did they just drop charges for lack of evidence? You are assuming even more than I am. Even if he bashed his head into a wall I think they people that restrained him and then left him unsupervised should be liable.

Plainly? There were accelerometers on the van that told you how hard it went around turns? Really? Plain evidence how it was turned? What sort of evidence? Sounds to me like all there was is some LACK of evidence to prosecute. Which is not at all the same as hard evidence of the opposite thing happening.

There was GPS tracking on the van.

You are saying there was a lack of evidence.

There was plenty of evidence submitted on the cops’ behalf that showed that the scenario invented by the prosecutors did not happen.

True. But if the officers did not have the means to defend themselves they would be in jail right now.

"These cops got a way with killing a many who was in their custody."

Wow! You must have evidence that the D.A.'s office didn't. You should have shared your evidence with Mosby's sorry ass, since she obviously was too incompetent to prove the charges she filed against the police officers. You could be charged with withholding evidence.

The DA’s office eventually dropped the charges for the remaining officers, after the Judge hearing the case found the first four officers “not guilty.” After four losses, the DA’s office finally woke up and realized they couldn’t prove their case against the remaining officers. They cut their losses while they could. Why embarrass yourself anymore than you already have?

That's why you pay Union dues. You never know when you're going to need legal representation in a court of law, or in an arbitration hearing.

The Amish in Baltimore, taking notice of the changes in the case, were busy today breaking into TV, clothing and liquor stores to return the items stolen during the riots.

They also announced the establishment of a fund to collect donations to replace the police cars burned during the riots.

</sarcasm>

Do you know how accurate GPS is for determining how hard you are cornering? It isn’t. Not that it matters. You restrain someone and they die you should be held accountable. Feel free to disagree all you want. Some people think cops are gods an should never be accountable. I for one think they should have a higher standard of responsibility than the general populace. This case demonstrates they are not held to a higher standard. If they aren’t responsible for the well being of a prisoner in their custody then they aren’t responsible for anything.

He did himself in by thrashing around in the van.

Suicide by thrashing? 😃

An old friend of mine came close to committing suicide resisting arrest while insanely drunk one night about 50 years ago.

The cop was another friend, and he was doing all he could to calm the guy down.
