I read somewhere that Malik is a naturalized US citizen and has a CPA. Once lived and worked in Maryland, Kenya if I remember this right allows dual citizenship so doesn't recognize the loss of Kenyan citizenship with the gaining of US citizenship. Kenyan law has no meaning here.

Ok, thanks. I read that Obie has a pretty accomplished half sister, but I don't think he has much of a relationship with her, if any at all.
