No, absolutely not — the grid would not support it. The grid can barely keep up with demand as it is. Especially mid summer when everyone is running their air conditioning.

And how the heck are they going to power the grid — wind and solar power? Lol. Coal? — heck no. Nat gas? — absolutely not. Nuclear? — forget it. Hydro? — the enviros would have a hissy fit; no way!
