Actually, that thin blue line would not stop determined people . One breach in it and the whole thing would collapse. It doesn’t look too sturdy.
If a delegate is seen throwing anything over that blue wall, anything, including empty corn chip bags, a used kleenex, a used condom, that person will likely be roughly escorted out the door and refused any readmittance! Her Majesty will not be amused.
