Two people are dead and at least 13 others injured during a shooting at a Fort Myers, Florida, nightclub, according to Captain Jim Mulligan with the Fort Myers Police.

Fort Myers, FL - There’s been another nightclub shooting in Florida. Fort Myers police confirm two people are dead and more than a dozen injured after a shooting at The Club Blue Bar and Grill. It was teen night at the club.
Police are responding to several other reports of shootings near the club, but it’s not clear if they are all connected. We are working to learn more and will bring you more details as it becomes available.
At least two people were killed and more than a dozen others injured in a shooting outside of a Florida nightclub early Monday, officials said.
Gunshots were fired in the parking lot of Club Blu in Fort Myers at around 12:30 a.m. ET.
Police said “at least 14-16 people” were wounded in the shooting, with their injuries ranging from minor to life-threatening.
A person of interest was detained at another location, and shots were fired — lightly injuring another person — five blocks away from the nightclub, police said.
“The Fort Myers Police Department and Lee County Sheriff’s Office are actively canvassing the area looking for other persons who may be involved in this incident,” a statement added. “At this time the scene is still very active as investigators and crime scene personnel attempt to determine what occurred.”
Detectives had yet to determine a motive early Monday.
I suppose because initial reports don’t mention a perp dying at the scene I’m guessing something gang oriented rather than political terrorism..... but there’s nothing to go on yet that I can see from Google or Twitter. Local bastard feral yutes?????
Thinking it’s domestic. It “feels” like an argument with a gun, many of the injured probably trampled. Still, 2 dead at least a few more shot I’m sure.

FORT MYERS -
Two people are dead and at least 14 are injured after gunfire broke out in the parking lot of a Fort Myers club early Monday morning.
Police responded to Club Blu Bar and Grill, on Evans Avenue, around 12:30 a.m. and found several victims suffering from gunshot wounds. At least 14-16 people hurt with injuries ranging from minor to life threatening.
Two people were confirmed dead and the injured victims were transported to area hospitals.
Police said there are two other scenes connected to the shooting. One at 2550 Parkway Street where the home and vehicles were shot at. There was one minor injury.
The other scene is on Ortiz Avenue between Luckett Road and Ballard Road where a person of interest had been detained, police said.
Police are canvassing the area searching for other people who may have been involved in the incident.

yeah, and I suppose because more dead weren’t reported initially that made it seem more like some “local” conflict with collateral damage.... we shall see.
