Editor's note: The following column is excerpted from D'Souza's book, "Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party" (Regnery Publishing, July 18, 2016).
Contrary to what we learn from progressives in education and media, the history of the Democratic Party well into the twentieth century is virtually uninterrupted history of thievery, corruption and bigotry. American history is the story of Democratic malefactors and Republican heroes. Yes, its true.
I begin with Andrew Jackson. He, not Thomas Jefferson or FDR,is the true founder of the modern Democratic Party. Progressives today are divided about Jackson. Some, like historian Sean Wilentz, admire him, while others want to remove him from the $20 bill because he was a slaveowner and a vicious Indian fighter. He was, in this view, a very bad American.
I support the debunking of Jackson, but not because he was a bad Americanrather, because he was a typical crooked Democrat. Jackson established the Democratic Party as the party of theft. He mastered the art of stealing land from the Indians and then selling it at giveaway prices to white settlers. Jacksons expectation was that those people would support him politically, as indeed they did. Jackson was indeed a man of the people, but his popularity was that of a gang leader who distributes his spoils in exchange for loyalty on the part of those who benefit from his crimes.
Jackson also figured out how to benefit personally from his land-stealing. Like Hillary Clinton, he started out broke and then became one of the richest people in the country. How? Jackson and his partners and cronies made early bids on Indian land, sometimes even before the Indians had been evacuated from that land. They acquired the land for little or nothing and later sold it for a handsome profit.

Love the endorsement from Blatty.
Go see it! In theaters.
1. Powerful indictment of the Democrat party with history presented in dramatized form. Destroys the lies Democrats put out and informs. Okay for kids over 12 as there’s some violence (slave abuse).
2. The Hillary info is explosive. Blows the lid off the Clinton criminal empire.
Must see this film!
Just returned from watching this film. It is a an explosive expose, not only on the dem party but especially on the Clinton Foundation. Limited showing ... definitely worth the price of admission. The man on line behind us, stepped up to the ticket window and asked for one ticket to “Liar Clinton” ... Lol ... made my day.
Listen for the pundits rebutting point by point.
Oh, no, they won’t do that...instead they’ll pretend the movie doesn’t exist.
Saw the movie. Well done, but far too historical to be effective as an anti-Hillary piece, IMO.
“Love the endorsement from Blatty.”
Me too. The dude knows evil when he wrote the Exorcist, and saw it in Hitlery.
There was a thread earlier that a top Russian exorcist says she is possessed.
I bit Smart Aleck!
Nice. Your link takes me to an ad for cantaloupes at 29 cents a pound—WITH CARD. How appropriate.
Excellent movie
Yeah I saw that too LOL. Bubba is also possessed by an incubus.
Given what I've read about Tweed's graft scheme, the Clinton Foundation is essentially a writ large version of that scheme. A scheme that benefited the Clintons while destroying lives in central Africa and Haiti--disgusting!
I saw it, but it was never shown on the movie listings until the day it ran in the evening (which would have meant a lot of seniors missed it). Then the following day if you checked the movie listings, it played for two matinees and an evening showing and that was it. There were only 8 people (me included) in the theater. If you want to see this movie you will have to put up Hillary’s America and research where it is playing in your area aggressively.
No. Never covered that. Was mostly about the Dems supporting slavery, and never voting to terminate it, while the Republicans managed to vote to get slavery abolished. The Dem elites formed the Ku Klux Klan. Andrew Jackson and Woodrow Wilson come off badly. He didn’t go after Hillary as much as I would have liked...probably worried about lawsuits or meeting with an untimely end.
Freaky.
