One thing you get overwhelmingly after reviewing a couple of hundred of the dnc emails by the way these are from the DNC finance director,is that “Politico” is like the bible to these people. It’s everything to them.
Anyone who ever thought that politico was fair and balanced was dead wrong.

MTP, asks about the "dark" critique, and also about the line "I alone can fix it."

The the later, Trump says he is comparing himself to Hillary, implying that he is not asserting he is going to "go it alone" if elected.

Policy question about taxing the Mexican-made air conditioners. Some of these things won't get through the WTO, the concern is this will rattle the world economy. Well, duh. Do you think a fractured Europe is good for America? No, but they got together to beat the US economically. Todd puts words in Trump's mouth, if it's bad for Europe, it's good for America. Trump brings up Airbus.

Policy question about muslim ban. Trump says he is not pulling back. Our constitution is great but it doesn't give us the right to commit suicide. There are nations (including Germany and France) that are compromised, and it is their own fault. It's why Brexit happened. Maybe we get to the point of not allowing lots of people into the US. Extreme vetting puts the burden on people coming in. He would stop the Syrian immigration in two seconds. "some of the these people have nowhere to go" We will make safe places for them, over there. The gulf states (not US gulf) have lots of money to do this.

On NATO remarks, McConnell, "rookie mistake" retort. Trump says "he's 100% wrong, and frankly it's sad."
