“Right Salon, because “Allahu Akbar” is a common thing for right-wing extremists to say. Right? Uhhhh....right?”
Maybe he was an Islamic NAZI, and it should be noted that the Nazi’s were very fond of Islam.
The comments on Salon are not buying this premise like this one, which is skirting around the edges of reason:
“Seems more like he’s inspired by Ander’s death count than his politics. He read up on spree killers. Although it is interesting that he did it on the anniversary of Ander’s attack.
All the articles now seem to ignore him yelling “Allahu Akbar” according to a Muslim witness. Not that I think he’s a Isis or a religiously inspired terrorist, but it seems an odd blind spot.
The media wants a nice, clean narrative: If he’s not a religious terrorist he must be either a right wing terrorist or just mad. So anything that is messy to any of those narratives gets dumped.”
German bureaucrats have absolutely zero credibility. The Cologne New Years celebration waslargely peaceful. People lie. This is human. However, when a lie is totally implausible there is a question of psychological illness. By minimizing these crimes they have made themselves accomplices. They must be on drugs.
