Flamebait? Hardly. It’s has to be unprecedented in U. S. political history for a donor who gave $10 million dollars to publicly tell that candidate to die in fire.
After months and months of never Trump tantrums it’s far better to have a news cycle or two of Cruz being politically waterboarded then weeks on end of “will Ted Cruz endorse Trump?”. It appears Cruz is already backtracking from his speech and I assume we will have a resolution shortly. Either Cruz will publicly call for party unity under Trump or disappear from this election season. Either solution is fine for Trump. What we don’t want is another primary while he is fighting the general. That is a guaranteed defeat.

It was a vitriolic, gutter-brawl, divisive primary. The convention ended Thursday. Hillary’s starts hers next week.
It’s time to point our guns outward.
