This is BS. The German government is trying to make this into a right wing shooting with no connection to Islam. Merkel is in political trouble because of her refugee policies. The recent attack on the train coupled with this incident presents her with major problems.
An earlier thread here on FR claimed he has Iranian parents but was born and raised in Germany.....and that he was desperate because he couldn’t find a job. Did he win the Glock in a lottery? That isn’t a cheap piece.

The only link I could find is that Friday was the five year anniversary of the Norway murders and this Iranian guy also killed teens. Not what I would call obvious.
