It could be that she simply doesn’t know him. He and Heidi have lived in separate states for many years — 7 or so, I believe. Added to that, from what I read 3 or 4 months ago, neither parent is very involved in the kids’ lives, and leave the “parenting” responsibility to nannies.

I could say likewise to you, because I heard Rush beat the drum for Ted all throughout the primary. Perhaps you didn’t hear the obvious bias, because you’re a Cruz supporter yourself.

If you’d followed the daily Rush thread on FR over the last year, you would be well aware that most Freepers who listen to Rush, agree with my observation. Frankly, it’s not even debateable. Too many people heard it happen in real time to deny it now.

Frankly, it’s not even debatable.
If you believe that to be so, then why bother responding to me? Just ignore me and my opinion.

If you ever followed my comments you would know I've been a Trump AND Cruz supporter practically from the get-go. So to pin your preconceived ideas of any bias on me only confirms your agenda. If truth be known, I believed both Trump and Cruz had strong points that would compliment each other; I even had high hopes that they would run as a team. But Cruz had his meltdown over Trump's remarks about him being born in Canada--which in my opinion wasn't even a slight against Cruz; but unfortunately, Cruz, for all his good points, took it as a slight and began showing his truly thin skin. C'est la vie.

In fairness, I don't disagree that Rush admired Cruz over his conservative principles. What Conservative didn't? What Conservative wouldn't admire someone who seemed to be the most principled Conservative at the time? For all the gushing you may have supposedly heard Rush say, Rush has time and again made the point: It did not matter to him who won the Republican nomination--it could even be Daffy Duck, so long as we beat Democrats and Liberals. Period. Is that so difficult to understand? To declare that Rush was all in for Cruz, as Beck or Levin is downright dishonest as a liberal troll trying to instigate a divide among Conservatives and Freepers.

Granted, it is true that people will hear what they want to hear. (Just as they read what they want to read.) I've heard callers tell Rush off for things he never even said. That's nothing new; when speaking about the human condition, people will fill in gaps to things they hear just to suit their emotional need. And when people do that, it leads me to my point: People who claimed to have listened to Rush truly have not listened to him.

In closing, this is not even an appropriate thread to discuss this, so I'll leave you with the last word, if you are so inclined.

I think Cruz’ purpose was to talk big and loud about THE CONSTITUTION, THE CONSTITUTION, THE CONSITUTION!!! and then sneak in the globalist TPP trade deal. This is what the globalist wanted from him all along. The rest was just political play acting.
