Petit mal seizures generally have neither a prodromal nor post ictal phase. This is not grand mal, or she would have been on the floor. I suspect petit mal -— which means she retains consciousness at at least partial control. Yes, I don’t think she wanted anyone to catch that on video.

Wife is a neurologist and definitely thinks it was a seizure. An absence seizure. During these type of spells, patients can have automatisms (such as stereotype head jerking, or picking at things in the air) and brief lapses in awareness.
In an adult, absence seizures may result from brain pathology (such as strokes, head trauma, or tumors).
