The question should be, if Cruz were the nominee, do you think he would have invited Trump to speak at his nominating convention? Not a chance.

I believe it was Jake Tapper who said Cruz refused to go on CNN. If anybody was ducking media it was Cruz.

Exactly. In fact Ted avoided unfriendly hosts. He would only appear with the likes of a Megyn Kelly.
