On the morning Fox and Friends show guest Frank Luntz, the corpulent pollster, was wearing Nike running shoes with American flags on them. Shoes made in Vietnam. Nike puts American flags on shoes made by third world slaves after shutting out the American worker. I am sure those things cost $200.00.
This is the problem in a nutshell..

Luntz the apple polisher strikes again.
There are not many people I detest more.
‘Pod.
Trump: Made in the USA bump.
I’ve been watching him for years.
He’s given entirely too much power at Fox Noise.
We were counterprotesting one April outside the Washington Hilton. White House Correspondence Dinner.
After the protest, and either during or after the pResident’s speech, there were many attendees milling about outside the front entrance of the Hilton.
The Apple Polisher was there palling around with his good buddy David Schuster (remember him?).
I felt sick to my stomach.
BufordP was there. Remember, Buford?
The average import tariff on foot ware is 20%. The EPA, OSHA, and Treasury Department makes it near impossible for Nike to make their products in America.
So when is Carrier going to announce a price reduction on air conditioners made in Mexico? How about Ford? When will the drop the price now that labor is basically free? Hmmmm?
Go Trump, screw the globalist cabal doing Marx's bidding. Make it in America!
there shoes = their shoes
I know of Schuster but who is BufordP
Carrier said specifically it was the EPA and other burdensome regulations that drove them out of Indiana. Our government - your government - could change rules tomorrow to make our country more manufacturing-friendly.
You stand corrected.
Globalist vs Patriots bump! Ya can’t be both!
The burning question is: who made Luntz’ ludicrous toupee and why does he think anyone is fooled?
At the local Naval Military Exchange most things come from China. A Vera Wang wallet is $200 bucks. Made in CHINA by slave labor.
The whole damned industry is moving to Mexico. Here ya go Sparky:
“This move is intended to address the challenges we continue to face in a rapidly changing HVAC industry, with the continued migration of the HVAC industry to Mexico, including our suppliers and competitors, and ongoing cost and pricing pressures driven, in part, by new regulatory requirements.”
People here have to understand Luntz’s REAL PURPOSE in the Republican Party.
He exists to rig polling in order to advance the agenda of those paying him. After 2012, his rigged ‘polling’ told all of the candidates that the days of being against Amnesty and Open Borders were over, as Romney got 27% (or so) of the Hispanic vote, and that wasn’t enough.
Well, not so fast. Laura Ingraham (outstanding speech last night too), calculated that Romney would have needed about 73% of the Hispanic vote to win that year. Of course the other option, never mentioned by Luntz or any other Republican insider, was to simply pull up Romney’s share of the WHITE VOTE from about 55% to 60%, which is EXACTLY what Trump is doing (and thankfully, Hillary hates white voters).
So into the 2016 campaign - first debate, Trump kicks butt, but Luntz’s (rigged) ‘focus group’ determines that Trump was horrible, and that Trump is finished - just the outcome that the RNC wanted. SURPRISE! SURPRISE!
So that’s who he is and what his job is. Any serious Republican running would not trust that man for a moment, he has more to do with our party looking globalist, open borders, and overall PATHETIC, than any other Republican. And he has that power because people on our side think his work is done scientifically and unbiased. But he’s not being paid for that type of work. Thankfully Trump now has his own pollster, on HIS own payroll.
I have a buddy who was a Ranger Raider and saw heavy combat in Nam. I always wonder how me must feel walking through the mall and seeing “Made in Vietnam” on so many tags.
And the GOP could pass legislation changing the EPA rules, so Carrier could stay and thrive.
But they don’t.
Maybe John McCain can help him understand.
The GOP doesn’t even TALK about excessive regulations let alone pass reform legislation. Big Government is driven by both parties.
