So far we have 8,948 replies on the live convention threads this week. We will easily have 10,000+ by the time Trump accepts the nomination tonight.
Having watched political conventions since 1972, this was definitely the most fast-paced one I’ve seen with prime time speakers popping out of the wings in rapid fire succession, one after th other. Have also not seen a convention where so many family members of the nominee have gotten up to speak. What an all-star crew the Trump children are. You have to wonder how Ivana and Marla are taking this (with Melania getting the spotlight). At least they are not causing Donald any grief.
Yes, this has been fun. I’ve really enjoyed. AS much fun as watching is, the conversations during the day leading up to the convention. Did you notice Fran Tarkington is speaking tonight?

A small sentence in Tiffany’s speech popped out at me. She said something like when her father calls her, he always asks her if her family in Georgia needs anything. It seems that he’s committed to making his “extended” families’ lives happy and safe. Have heard that his ex-wives have good relationships with him.
Sam, hope you got some sleep last night.
The morning commute comes too soon.
Ivanna is a classy lady. As far as we know, she was faithful to her husband, worked very hard in her husband’s company, and raised beautiful children.
I recently viewed a video of her that was biographical in nature. She exudes amazing energy, grace, optimism, and happiness, much like Donald.
She would have absolutely made a terrific First Lady.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. There really should be bigger pauses after the really powerful speakers so that the crowd can keep the energy going.
It was a shame that Darrel Scott's speech didn't get time to sink in - instead another speaker was announced before he even left the floor.
